Polaris creates a powerful strategic IT partner through the acquisition of Globeteam and merger with 7N<\/h2>

Press release July 1st, 2025<\/em><\/p>

Polaris has signed an agreement to acquire the consultancy company Globeteam from Norvestor and Kirk Kapital with the intention of merging Globeteam with 7N, which is already owned by Polaris. As a result, two of the market\u2019s most specialized players are being united into a powerful IT partner that combines strategic advisory, strong project delivery, and flexible access to highly qualified IT consultants.<\/p>

\u201cWe see a strong strategic match. Globeteam\u2019s capabilities within strategic advisory and experience with complex IT projects perfectly complement 7N\u2019s existing business model. Combined, the new company will be able to meet most customer needs for highly specialized IT expertise and end-to-end project delivery,\u201d says Rune Gornitzka, Partner at Polaris.<\/p>

7N and Globeteam are two strong and complementary players in the consulting services market. 7N is an expert-based IT consultancy with a strong track record as a trusted partner in critical IT projects, leveraging the experience and expertise of more than 7,300 selected and vetted top consultants globally. Over two decades, Globeteam has built a reputation as one of Denmark\u2019s most trusted providers of advisory and IT solutions and is recognized for its ability to lead complex, strategic projects, particularly in public sector digital transformation.<\/p>

The merger brings together the strengths of both companies: Globeteam\u2019s strategic project solutions are combined with 7N\u2019s expertise, flexibility, and international network. The combined company will span a wide range of services from strategic advisory and analysis to staffing, project management, and operations, and will be capable of handling larger and more complex assignments in both the private and public sectors.<\/p>

Sebastian Podlesny, current CEO of 7N, will become Group CEO of the new group.
Andreas Strandbygaard will be appointed Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) and will join the group management team, while continuing as Managing Director of Globeteam, which going forward will be responsible for the group\u2019s IT project and solutions sales.<\/p>

The group management team will be tasked with realizing commercial synergies while preserving the unique cultures of both companies.<\/p>

\u201cThe merger with 7N strengthens Globeteam by providing access to a global network of highly skilled IT consultants. This will enable us to take on more complex assignments. At the same time, it opens new opportunities in the private sector \u2013 all while maintaining the quality and customer approach that defines Globeteam today,\u201d adds Andreas Strandbygaard.<\/p>

Initially, the new group will continue to operate under both brands. Customers and consultants will not experience any changes in contact persons, contracts, or ways of working.<\/p>

The combined group would have had annual revenue of DKK 2 billion in 2024 on a pro forma basis.<\/p>

Following relevant regulatory approvals, the merger will be implemented gradually with full focus on quality, customers, and culture.<\/p>

The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.<\/p>

Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.<\/p>

Globeteam\u2019s CEO Claus Moldow has chosen to continue as senior advisor to the management team, and CTO Morten Strunge Nielsen will, at his own request, become Head of Global Solutions Delivery with the task of expanding the Globeteam division\u2019s project sales internationally after the merger.<\/p>
